Who is Bushwacker Ecotours?

Bushwacker Ecotours is a collection of Eco-guides who work and study the natural areas of Southern Queensland. Some are Environmental Science students, some are researchers, or have significant conservation or ecotourism experience, all have a passion for our natural treasurers and a wealth of knowledge to pass onto Bushwacker Ecotour guests.

What Do We Do?

Departing regularly from Brisbane & the Gold Coast, Bushwacker Ecotours offers an exciting range of guided tour options. We offer day tours and overnight programs. Our focus is on Natural areas including, Springbrook, Lamington, Fraser Island and Moreton Island National Parks.

The range of activities available on Bushwacker Ecotours include Bushwalking, Wildlife viewing, Flying fox, Glow Worm Viewing, camping 4WD, snorkeling, sandboarding. So have a look around, decide what interests you and let us to help you discover Southern Queensland’s world heritage Rainforests.

What is Ecotourism?

The definition of ecotourism adopted from the Ecotourism Association of Australia is:
"Ecotourism is ecologically sustainable tourism with a primary focus on experiencing natural areas that fosters environmental and cultural understanding, appreciation and conservation."
